About

The California CEO Council is a nonpartisan coalition of leaders committed to advancing policies that ensure a thriving and prosperous Golden State for everyone.
The Council identifies critical challenges and key opportunities for California’s long-term economic success. We leverage our collective voice to elevate awareness among elected officials and the broader public to drive meaningful change.
A Pivotal Moment
The CalCEO Council was convened to address four urgent, interconnected challenges facing California.
- Affordability Crisis: The high costs of basic necessities are hurting business owners and consumers alike.
- Fiscal Instability: Governments at all levels face funding challenges that threaten the ability to provide the public works and infrastructure on which the state’s economy depends.
- Ideology-Driven Policy: Too often, decisions made by elected officials are motivated by partisan political objectives.
- Competitive Threats: Other states and countries are not only eager to attract businesses and workers away from California but are succeeding too often and undermining our long-term growth.
